24 Hour HAZWOPER Training & OSHA GHS Hazardous Communication – $189.00

The 24 Hour HAZWOPER course is for employees who are limited to a specific duty or on fully characterized sites which have no hazards above acceptable levels. The HAZWOPER 24 hour training is for Managers and supervisors as well as those they supervise. Hazardous Materials Technicians and Specialists, Emergency correspondents, and employees at a treatment, storage or disposal site managing RCRA waste all require the initial 24 hour HAZWOPER training.

The HAZWOPER 24 hour training will discuss the different types of hazardous materials and the risks associated with them, the need for protective and respiratory equipment when handling hazardous materials, evaluating work practices to minimize risks commonly found at waste sites, and more.

This course covers 24 hours of instruction, required by 29 CFR 1910.120(e) (3), OSHA’s Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response training standard. According to regulations, employees must have an initial training of 24 hour HAZWOPER and one day of supervised field experience before being allowed to enter the site. This online course meets the requirement of the initial training of HAZWOPER 24. The one day supervised field experience can be fulfilled via a current or potential employer.

Upon completion of the 24 hour HAZWOPER course, you will be able to print your certificate of completion which is accepted by OSHA as documentation of training.

This HAZWOPER 24 hour training is comprised of 14 sections, covering topics pertaining to work place hazards associated with Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER). At the completion of this course, you will be able to:
